Some European countries may still consider it illegal to install HIDs in cars. Xenon headlights have become more common on luxury vehicles in the last decade. They are also known as high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps. They produce white-blue light that is up to two times brighter than halogen bulbs. And they last 2,500 hours! Unlike halogen bulbs, xenon headlights require three stages of ignition before their light can produce light. Halogens have a maximum colour temperature of 4300K, while HIDs can reach more than that. Xenons produce strong blue light that can be seen up to six miles away. They also require a warming-up period to work properly.

Another major advantage of Xenon headlights is their durability. Unlike halogen bulbs, xenon headlights do not produce a yellow glow, which causes confusion for other drivers. Furthermore, they last longer than halogen bulbs, which means they will save you money in the long run. They are also more efficient, meaning you will use less energy than you do with halogen headlights.
